London Magician / Children's Entertainer Rabbit Dilemma
On Saturday I was going to Leyton for the opening of a refurbished Library. It opened at 10am and I left at 8.50am to give myself plenty of time. I felt as if I was missing something and checked and rechecked the various Magic Tricks I wanted to bring. Everything seemed to be there but there was still something nagging at the back of my mind. Set off and was happily driving along and about 15 mins into the journed when it suddenly hit me - the Rabbit. I stopped and thought about it. Do I go back and arrive a few minute late or carry on and arrive in plenty of time. Stick or Twist. I decided to go back and had a good journey back home and on the way to Leyton and eventually made it with a few minutes to spare. The Libary was fantastic and the kids loved the Magic Show and the Live White Rabbit was the star - glad I went back. I also did Close Up Magic and made some teenagers day who were there to study for the GCSE's. At the end they said "You've made our week".
I then went to Stoke Newington for a children's party. Last year they had been let down by a soft play area which they had booked for their daughter, who called and cancelled with two hours to go saying the electricity was down. In fact they were double booked, so the mum was very happy to see me pull up 20 mins early. I found out that the Great Grandma who was over a 100 was paying for the Magician!!!
On Sunday I had a Magic Show on my doorstep in Dulwich. They had really gone to town on their Super Hero theme and had a photo booth and a face painter so they all came away looking like their favourite superheroes. Will add some pictures of the cakes later.
