London Magician Go Go Go
On Friday I had a Fundraising Magic Show at Heber Primary - near Dulwich. They have 400 kids in the school but had sold 300 tickets - the show was great and lots of positive feedback afterwards for the PTA but also they raised a decent amount of money on top of the good will they provided. Only issue was it was on the 3rd floor and I have about 6 trips to make going up and then packing down so must have been good for the figure.
I also did a Charity event in W2 near Hyde Park. Great gig with everyone getting into it. Magic really spans the ages as the youngest was about 16 and the oldest over 75.
On Saturday I had a children's magic show on my doorstep in West Norwood. When I asked one of the children if she knew what I was - she replied "Of course I know - you're my next door neighbour"!!. Kids were great and parents amazed how they could sit mezmerized for the duration of the show. I have to say it comes with practice.
On Sunday I had a show up in E4 which was over 20 miles away. However it only seemed to take about an hour which was quite good. They had seen me before at another party and the child had requested me for their party - always the best recommendation
Today I was at Rockmount Primary School in Crystal Palace doing a Magic Show for Year 2 as they have now finished reading Leon and the Magician and this was a treat for them. I had to get dressed up and had a goatee and a moustache painted on to fit the part. They didn't go away disappointed.
Tomorrow I have my School Magic Club in Dulwich Hamlet and then on Friday I have another Magic Fundraising Show near Putney - it's go go go
