London Magician @ The Ivy House, Peckham, New Malden, Kentish Town and Sutton
Real mixed Bag this week with The Ivy House Magic Easter Show on the Bank Holiday Monday. Had about 90 to each show which was a good crowd. Pictures and expressions on the kids faces say it all. In the interval two Easter Bunnies made an appearance and could have been sold 100 x over
On Wednesday I was up in Stoke Newington for a Jewish School for kids with Special Needs. Somehow Magic seems to go beyond time and space and it was a joy to see their smiles and laughter and getting involved. The rabbit was very popular at the end and lots of photos
On Saturday I was in New Malden for a family that had been recommended to them by another family in Dulwich. They used to live in the area but moved a few years ago. The birthday boy was quite quite to begin with but soon was the life and sole of the party. I was then up to Kentish Town Farm for another children's party. Had roosters and chickens wandering in during the Magic Show but the kids loved every minute of it.
On Sunday was doing Close Up Magic in Sutton near Beddington Park for a lady's 70th birthday party. They had a meal and I was doing Table Magic - a sprinkling of grand children who were also happy not only with the magic but also the Balloon Animals they got as well.
Off to The Magic Circle this evening to see a magician from Las Vegas who's coming in for a special lecture / Magic Show. Dulwich Hamlet School Magic Club starts tomorrow and had a couple of bookings for the fundraising Magic Shows from schools today. It's busy busy busy.
