The illusion of sawing someone in half has been around for over a century. It was first performed by British magician P.T. Selbit in 1921 — a moment that changed stage magic forever.
Since then, it’s become a signature piece for magicians, but it’s rarely seen up close. Most modern magicians don’t include it in their repertoire because of the size, cost, and performance skill it requires.
That’s why I’m so excited to bring this illusion into modern family magic, safely adapted and performed live in living rooms, halls, and schools all across London.
